From Burglary To Attempted Murder: Delhi Crime Branch Nabs Abdul Vakil With 73 Records

The Crime Branch has arrested Abdul Vakil, a notorious criminal involved in 73 criminal cases in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. He has been booked for serious charges including attempted murder, dacoity, burglary, theft, and under the Arms Act. He was wanted in a theft case registered in Sonia Vihar. Based on this case, the police traced his location and apprehended him.

According to DCP Vikram Singh, Abdul Vakil's involvement in the Sonia Vihar theft was confirmed by samples and fingerprints taken from the crime scene. The police identified his involvement through a dossier. He is a resident of Mustafabad.

On September 1, the Crime Branch received specific information about the wanted criminal Abdul Vakil. Following this, a team led by ACP Rajbir Malik and Inspector Sunil Kumar Bhardwaj arrested him from Mustafabad.
