The Indian Railways has announced a new regular train service connecting Anand Vihar Terminal and Patna. Officials stated that the existing special train (03255/03256) operating on this route will now be converted into a regular service to provide an additional travel option for passengers.
The Patna-Anand Vihar Terminal Express (13251/13252) will run twice a week, beginning December 7. From Patna, the train will depart every Sunday and Thursday at 10 pm and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 6:35 pm the following day.

In the return direction, it will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal every Monday and Friday at 11:30 pm, arriving in Patna at 6:30 pm the next day.
The train will halt at Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Prayagraj, and Govindpuri stations. It will include AC, sleeper, and general class coaches for passengers’ convenience.
