Construction work commenced on Tuesday for the C-Block Hanuman Mandir Road and its connected lanes in New Ashok Nagar, East Delhi. In a symbolic gesture, local residents laid the foundation stone for the project at the request of Trilokpuri MLA Ravikant.

Cost: The project is estimated to cost Rs 5 crore (Rs 50,000,000).
Timeline: The work is expected to be completed in approximately two months.
Scope: The project covers the C-Block Hanuman Mandir Road, which is over two kilometers long, along with its many adjoining lanes.
Statements And Impact
MLA Ravikant stated that the project aims to enhance the convenience of the people and contribute to the beautification of the area. He emphasised that a well-constructed road will lead to smoother traffic flow and improve the overall cleanliness and image of the locality.

He also mentioned that this is part of a broader effort to upgrade facilities—including roads, drains, parks, street lights and water supply—across all blocks of the Trilokpuri constituency.
