Republic Day 2026: No Parking At New Delhi, Old Delhi And Major Stations; Railways Issues Strict Advisory

In view of the Republic Day celebrations, security arrangements in the national capital have been tightened. Consequently, the Railway Administration has decided to temporarily close all authorised parking areas at New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station, Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station and Anand Vihar Terminal from January 25, 2026 to January 26, 2026.

According to railway officials, this step has been taken for security reasons to prevent any unwanted activities and ensure the safety of passengers during Republic Day.

The administration has appealed to vehicle owners to remove their vehicles from the respective railway station parking lots before the scheduled period. Action may be taken as per rules against any vehicles found parked in these areas during the specified timeframe.
