What We Know So Far About Delhi Red Fort Car Blast
Initial investigation into the deadly explosion in Delhi has hinted that the high-intensity blast may have been a suicide attack (fidayeen attack).
According to a report by news agency ANI, citing Delhi Police sources, investigators are of the view that Dr Umar Un Nabi, intended to carry out an explosion at a later date. However, when the Faridabad terror module was busted in the day and a huge amount of ammonium nitrate was seized, he allegedly shifted to a fidayeen-style operation, to maximise casualties and avoid capture by police.
