Land of Nawabs: India is world famous for its rich history, heritage and culture. Many places here are known by the same unique factor linked to their history. One such city is known as the ‘Land of Nawabs’, do you know which state this is? Lucknow is known as the land of Nawabs, and majorly due to the city’s rich history linked to the Nawabs. This title is given in reference to the Nawabs of Awadh, who are also known as Oudh. These Nawabs ruled Lucknow in the 18th and 19th centuries, after the decline of the Mughal Empire.
