AIBE Exam 2023: The Bar Council of India (BCI) has postponed the exam dates of the All India Bar Examination XVIII (AIBE 18) exam again. According to the notification, the AIBE 18 exam 2023 will be held on December 10, 2023, earlier the exam date was December 3, 2023. This decision has been made because of a scheduling conflict with the CLAT PG exam and the MP State Judicial PT, which are both scheduled for the same day.
"The decision to reschedule the AIBE has been taken due to an clash with the CLAT PG exam and M.P. State Judicial P.T. which are also slated for the same day. We have received multiple communications from concerned candidates expressing the challenges this overlap presents," reads the official notification.
According to the schedule, the deadline to register for the AIBE exam will be November 16, earlier the last date to register was November 10. The deadline for registered candidates to make any required changes to their existing registration will be November 19. All India Bar Exam 18 admit cards will be made available between December 1 to December 5, 2023. Candidates are advised to bring their AIBE 18 admit card along with the valid ID proof on the examination day.

According to the updated notification, the exam scheduling conflict between the CLAT PG exam and AIBE XVIII has been resolved. However, the new dates for the All India Bar Exam (AIBE 18) now overlap with the AILET exam 2024, which is scheduled to take place on December 10, 2023. The AILET is conducted by the National Law University for admissions into its BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD programs.
