APPSC Group 2 Prelims Result 2024 Released At psc.ap.gov.in; 92,250 Candidates Qualified For Mains Exam

APPSC Group 2 Result 2024: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the APPSC Group 2 Preliminary Result 2024. Candidates who appeared for the prelims exam can check and download the APPSC Group 2 Prelims Result 2024 at psc.ap.gov.in.

A total of 92,250 candidates have been selected to participate in the mains examination, while 2557 candidates have been disqualified due to issues such as tampering, multiple booklet series encoding, and failure to encode any booklet series on their answer sheets.

 "It is hereby informed that the list of candidates provisionally qualified for Mains Examination of Group-II Services, Notification No. 11/2023, dated: 07.12.2023, on the basis of written examination (Objective Type) held on 25/02/2024 FN  is hosted on Commission’s website www.psc.ap.gov.in," reads the notification. 

The Group 2 prelims exam, organised by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), took place on February 25th across 1,327 centers spanning all 24 districts of Andhra Pradesh. This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 905 vacant seats for various executive and non-executive positions.

APPSC Group 2 Mains Exam 2024

The  APPSC Group 2 main exam will be held on July 28, 2024. The main exam comprises two objective-type papers, with a combined total of 300 marks. Each paper is allocated 150 marks and must be completed within a duration of 150 minutes. Paper I delves into the social and cultural history of Andhra Pradesh, along with a broad understanding of the Indian Constitution. Paper II explores the economies of both India and Andhra Pradesh, alongside scientific and technological progress.
