Pushpanjali Kumari (Jamui) and Sabrin Parveen (Vaishali) secured the first rank with 96.40% (492 marks) in BSEB Matric 2026. Notably, 57 girls featured among the Top 10 rank holders this year.

According to the BSEB Class 10 Matric results 2026, declared on March 29, 2026, girl candidates have outperformed boys, securing a higher overall pass percentage and continuing the trend of female excellence in board exams. Over 16 lakh students appeared, with a total pass rate of 81.79%.

The State Education Minister extended his best wishes to the successful candidates for their future endeavors. He termed the 81.79% pass percentage a major achievement for Bihar.

The Bihar School Examination Board has released the Class 10 examination results. This year, a total of 81.79% of students have been declared successful, an increase compared to last year, indicating an improvement in the results this time around.

BSEB has announced the overall pass percentage for the Class 10 Matric Result 2026 at 81.79 per cent. A total of approximately 15.10 lakh students appeared for the examination, out of which around 12.35 lakh candidates have successfully cleared the exam. The data reflects the overall performance trend across the state for this academic session.

Pushpanjali Kumari from Jamui and Sabrin Parveen from Vaishali have emerged as Bihar Board toppers. Both students secured 96.40% marks (492 marks) and jointly achieved the first rank in the state. These talented students from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya and a Higher Secondary School in Vaishali have brought pride to their districts by securing the top position across Bihar.

For the Bihar Board Matriculation Examination, 1,699 examination centers were established across the state. The examinations were conducted in two shifts: the first shift was held from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, and the second shift was conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

In the Bihar Board Matriculation Examination held in 2025, Sakshi Kumari, Anshu Kumari, and Ranjan Verma jointly secured the top position. All three toppers achieved a total score of 489 marks (97.80%).

A total of 1,558,077 students appeared for the Bihar Board Matriculation Examination 2025, out of whom 1,279,294 were successful. A total of 470,845 students passed in the First Division, 484,012 in the Second Division, and 307,792 in the Third Division.

Following the declaration of Matric results, the admission process for Class 11 in government intermediate schools will begin in early April. Students will apply online through the OFSS platform provided by the Bihar Board, making it easier to secure admission into their preferred institutions.
