Maharashtra School Education Minister Dada Bhuse announced that the CBSE curriculum will be introduced from Class 1 starting in 2025 and gradually extended to all classes up to Class 12 by 2028.

CBSE has adopted the system of ‘Relative Grading’ for awarding subject-wise grades along with the marks secured by students of Classes 10th and 12th. The board states that the relative grading is a ‘more scientific approach’ as opposed to the absolute grading wherein grades are given based on predetermined cut off levels.
