CBSE Board Exams 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released a notification about the CBSE 2025 board test guidelines for students in Classes 10 and 12. Over 44 lakh pupils will take the CBSE 2025 board exam beginning February 15, 2025.

Candidates who take examinations must be aware of exam ethics as well as other laws and regulations. The latest CBSE notification also addressed school principals and heads to ensure that students are informed of the general exam norms.

The CBSE has also specified the acceptable and prohibited materials for the CBSE board test 2025 centre. According to the announcement, pupils must attend the board exam in school uniform.

The CBSE ethics notice circular can be downloaded for information from the organization's official website. Previously, the CBSE implemented a CCTV strategy for board exams in 2025. All schools that administer board exams must have CCTV facilities, and schools that want to become exam centres must install cameras at their own expense.

According to the official notice, applicants must not keep any electronic devices after entering the exam hall, or their current and next year's exams will be cancelled. Following that, candidates must retake all subjects' tests.

“Cancellation of current as well as next year’s examination in all subjects. Shall have to take the examination in all subjects thereafter.” the official notice read.

CBSE Board Exam 2025: What things can be carried?

Applicants must bring their admit card to the exam centre. Other lists of acceptable items for the CBSE board test 2025 are provided below.

* Admit Card and school ID card for regular students

* Admit Card and ID proof for private students

* Stationery items such as transparent pouch, geometry, pencil Box, blue or royal

* blue ink, ballpoint or gel pen, scale, writing pad, eraser

* Analogue watch, transparent water bottle

* Metro card, bus pass, money

CBSE Board Exam 2025: Things which are barred

The permissible items for the CBSE board exam in 2025 are given below for convenience.

* Any stationary item, such as printed or written text, bits of paper, or a calculator. Candidates with learning disabilities, including Dyscalculia, are permitted to use calculators as per Circular No. CBSE/COORD/2020 dated 20.01.2020 and are provided with them by exam centres. Pen drives, calculators, and log tables, as well as electronic pens and scanners, will be provided by the centres.

* Any kind of communication device, including a mobile phone, Bluetooth, earbuds, microphone, pager, health band, smartwatch, camera, and so on.

* Other goods include wallets, goggles, handbags, pouches, and more.

* Any eatable item unwrapped or packed, except for diabetic pupils.

* Any other item that could be used unfairly.

* The use of the aforementioned or comparable things will be classified as "Unfair Means" and will result in the appropriate punishment under the rules.
