CBSE Class 10 Science Exam 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a new circular on February 24, 2026, related to the exam structure and answer writing pattern for the Class 10 Science paper. The paper is divided into three sections: Section A (Biology), Section B (Chemistry), and Section C (Physics), so that evaluation can be done accurately.
CBSE has allowed students to attempt the three sections in any order, for example, A-B-C, B-A-C, or C-B-A. However, for clarity, the Board has strictly instructed the students to write answers for each section in the designated space allotted to that section.

CBSE Class 10 Science Exam 2026: Key Instructions
Check out some important instructions given by CBSE regarding the exam structure.
1. If any section’s answer is found to be written in another section, then it will not be evaluated.
2. CBSE has requested students to take utmost care while answering questions for each section to prevent losing unnecessary marks.
3. Avoid writing in a disorganized manner. Students are requested to leave some space between two answers in any section. This will help to clearly indicate the section on their answer sheet.
4. The Board further advised students to avoid mixing up answers in a disorganized manner. Follow the sequence and write answers in that order only.
Additionally, VK Mishra, Principal of Diwan Public School, Meerut, urged students to tackle the Board exams with a calm mind and focus on their preparation. Attempt each section systematically to avoid any confusion. The school administration urged parents and students to thoroughly understand these instructions before the exam.
