The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted a series of surprise inspections in 27 schools across Rajasthan and Delhi on Tuesday to address the issue of "dummy schools." This initiative was designed to ensure that schools affiliated with the Board adhere strictly to CBSE's norms and by-laws.
CBSE stated that the findings from these inspections will be thoroughly reviewed, and appropriate actions will be taken against any non-compliance.
"A total of 27 teams, each comprising a CBSE officer and a principal from a CBSE-affiliated school, carried out the inspections. The process was meticulously planned to take place simultaneously across all selected schools within a short timeframe to maintain an element of surprise," the statement read.
