CBSE Practical Exam 2024: Guidelines For Students And Parents

- Students and parents must ensure the accurate representation of their fields of study in the schools' submitted list of candidates.

- Familiarising themselves with the syllabus and the subjects designated for practical exams is essential for students and parents.

- In case students miss the initial schedule, the Board will offer a second chance for participation in the practical tests, provided they stick to the specified timetable.

CBSE Practical Exam 2024: Guidelines For Schools

- Schools are responsible for assuring timely completion of the practical exam curriculum.

- Necessary arrangements, such as laboratory supplies and appointment of internal examiners, must be organised by the schools.

- Schools will inform all students and parents about the practical exam date-sheet for essential preparations on their part.

- Marks in the practical exams will be awarded based on the correct maximum marks specified in the circular of marks distribution released on October 30, 2023 (Circular number CBSE/Coord/Marks distribution/E-58224/2023).

- Both external and internal examiners should note that once marks are published, alterations cannot be made. Accuracy in marking is important. Students are advised to adhere to the scheduled practical examination dates.

- Class 12 practical examinations will solely be overseen by external examiners appointed by the board.

- Regional offices are tasked with overseeing the timely completion of practical exams in all schools as per the provided schedule and ensuring the uploading of marks.

- They are responsible for delivering practical answer books to schools ahead of the commencement of practical examinations.
