IIT JAM 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay on Wednesday launched the JAM 2024 website. The IIT JAM will be conducted on February 11, 2024. The registration process will start on September 5. Candidates can check the details at jam.iitm.ac.in.

“GATE-JAM office, IIT Bombay announces the launch of the Joint Admission test for Masters 2024 website https://jam.iitb.ac.in by IIT Madras. Application portal is expected to open by 5th Sept 2023. All eligible students and other aspirants are encouraged to apply,” said IIT Bombay in a post.

According to the schedule, candidates will be able to fill out their application form till October 13, 2023. For a single paper, candidates falling under the SC, ST, PwD categories, and female candidates are obligated to pay an application fee of Rs 900, while all other candidates are expected to submit a fee of Rs 1,800.

According to the eligibility criteria for JAM 2024, individuals who have either completed their undergraduate degree or are presently in the final year of their undergraduate programs are eligible to submit their applications. Foreign nationals possessing Indian degrees are also eligible to apply.

The JAM 2024 results are scheduled to be announced on March 24, 2024. These scores will facilitate students' admission into various programs such as MSc, MSc (Tech), MSc-MTech Dual Degree, MS (Research), Joint MSc - PhD, and MSc - PhD Dual Degree across institutions including IITs, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), IIEST Shibpur, and Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET).

JAM 2024 is scheduled to take place in two different sessions including an morning session and an afternoon session covering a total of seven test papers, namely Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH). The examination question paper will contain a variety of question formats including multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions.
