JEE Main 2026 Registration Expected To Open In Early October For Admission To BTech, BArch Programmes; Details Here

NTA JEE Mains 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to begin the JEE Main 2026 registration in the second or third week of October 2025, as per the trend observed over the past 5 years. The authority issued an advisory on September 29, urging candidates to update their Aadhar, category certificates the UDID card before registration. This move has strengthened the expectation that the NTA JEE Mains registration will begin soon.

JEE Main 2026: Exam Pattern

The JEE Main exam will have two papers:

Paper 1: For BE/BTech admission, with sections in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Paper 2: For BArch and BPlanning courses. Includes Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and a Drawing/Planning test (Paper 2A for BArch, 2B for BPlanning)

Both papers will have multiple-choice questions and numerical answer-type questions, with negative marking applicable for incorrect answers.

The steps to apply for the JEE Mains 2026 application process are as follow:

Step 2: Login and fill in the details in the application form.

Step 3: Uploading the photo, signature, and Class 12 mark sheet.

Step 4: Verify all the details carefully and pay the required fee.
