KCET 2025: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 timetable for admissions to engineering, yoga and naturopathy, BPharm and Pharma-D, agricultural science, veterinary science, and BSc (Nursing) professional programmes. The KCET 2025 registration period will begin on January 23, 2025, on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

KEA announced that applicants from outside Karnataka (Horanadu) and border districts (Gadinadu) registering under the Kannada language quota will take a Kannada language test on April 18, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Class 4 language test, worth 50 points, will be administered at district centres in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Mangaluru.

“Candidates must register online for CET 2025, fill out the online application form, and pay the application fee to be considered for admission to these courses. Unlike previous years, students are not required to upload any documents online during the application process,” said KEA in the latest notification.

KCET 2025: Guidelines for applicants

KEA published the following rules for KCET 2025 candidates concerning the KCET application form 2025.

- Upon login, an OTP will be given to the registered mobile number for verification. Applicants must give their mobile numbers because each number can only be linked to one application. Mobile numbers cannot be altered at any point during the procedure.

- Caste and caste-income certifications put into the online application will be used to determine reservation information.

- Academic information about applicants will be acquired via the SATS (Student Achievement Tracking System) number via web services.

- After submitting their application, applicants can download a Claim Certificate. Aspirants will not need to visit any office or college for document verification if the certificate says "Successfully Verified".

- Following the CET results, a verification slip will be accessible for download.

- If the Claims Certificate states "Claimed Verified," "Claimed Not Verified," or "Not Claimed," applicants must submit a copy of their completed application form as well as original papers supporting their claims to the principal of the college where they are enrolled in Class 12/2nd PUC. A set of copies of these documents must be presented with the Claims Certificate. Following the assessment of the documents, the college authorities will verify and authorize the candidate's details.

- Applicants will get SMS notifications at various stages of the process.

- The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has granted login credentials to all PUC colleges in the state to validate applicant applications. The verification software is ready, and applicants do not need to come to the BEO office for verification.

- Candidates applying under specific categories such as NCC, sports, defence, ex-defence, CAPF, ex-CAPF, scouts & guides, and Anglo-Indian reserve must provide appropriate credentials in person at KEA. Specific document submission dates will be published following the exam.
