NEET PG 2024 Counselling Date: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the NEET PG counselling 2024 dates soon. This couselling process is used for admission to 50 per cent of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats in various MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB programs offered by medical colleges and universities across India. The NEET PG counselling 2024 schedule will be available at mcc.nic.in.

The NEET PG 2024 counselling process will consist of four rounds: round 1, round 2, a mop-up round, and a stray vacancy round. Additional rounds may be announced if seats remain vacant. The counselling process will include registration, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, and reporting to the assigned college.

The medical entrance examination for admission to MD, MS, DNB, and Diploma programs was held on August 11 in two shifts across 416 venues in 170 cities. The results were declared on August 23. A total of 2,28,540 candidates appeared for the exam, which was conducted in English. The exam lasted 3 hours and 30 minutes and comprised 200 multiple-choice questions divided into three parts.

General and EWS category candidates must achieve a minimum of 50 percentile in the NEET PG exam to qualify for counselling. SC, ST, and OBC category candidates must attain a minimum of 40 percentile to pass the exam.

NEET PG is the only eligibility and entrance exam for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses. It applies to All India 50 per cent quota seats across all states and union territories, as well as state quota seats, private medical colleges, deemed universities, Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions, and Post-MBBS DNB, Direct 6-year DrNB, and NBEMS Diploma courses.
