NEET PG Counselling 2023: Round 1 Registration For 50 Percent AIQ Starts Today at mcc.nic.in; Check Schedule Here

JE Education Desk: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling registration for round 1 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats will start today, according to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). On mcc.nic.in, candidates can register for the first round of NEET PG counselling in 2023.

For the AIQ applicants who passed the NEET PG test in 2023, the committee will conduct the NEET PG counselling in four rounds: round 1, round 2, mop-up round, and stray vacancy round. On August 17, 2023, the second round of NEET PG 2023 counselling will start.

According to the latest update, 649 hospitals and 6,102 colleges will take part in the NEET PG counselling 2023. Seats for medical graduates will be allocated for the 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), 922 PG Diploma, and 1,338 Diplomate Of National Board - Centralised Entrance Test (DNB CET) exams based on the NEET PG 2023 counselling.

The first round of NEET PG counselling in 2023 will be followed by candidate registration, fee payment, and selection of courses and colleges. Admission to the PG programs will be granted based on the graduates' choices, their NEET PG 2023 ranking, and the availability of seats.
