NEET PG round 2 counselling 2023: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has decided to extend the deadline for round 1 registration by one day, until August 18, 2023. According to the timetable, round 2 counselling registration for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) will start today on the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.
NEET PG counselling will be offered in four rounds overall in 2023, with one extra round. The official website reads, “Resignation from Round 1 seat is being provided up to 05:00 PM of 18.08.2023.”
The committee declared that August 18 will mark the release of the provisional round 2 seat matrix. Starting on August 17, registration for NEET PG round 2 AIQ counselling will be open. It will end at 12 noon on August 22. However, on the final day for NEET PG round 2 counselling registration, the payment option will be available until 8 pm.

Candidates who desire to study MD, MDS, or PG medical courses must fill in choices in the order of priority from August 19 to August 22 once the seat matrix is released on August 18. They must also use the option locking function on August 22 between 3 and 11.55 p.m.
Results for the second round of NEET PG 2023 allotments will be made available on August 25 at mcc.nic.in. Those who did not receive a place in any of the first two rounds may participate in the third and final rounds. On September 8, the third round of NEET PG registration will begin.
The final year MBBS students of the 2020 batch are anticipated to take the National Exit Test (NExT), which will replace NEET PG, in August 2025, according to discussions between the health ministry and the National Medical Commission (NMC).
