NEET UG Registration 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close registration for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2024 today, March 16, 2024. The NEET UG 2024 registration window will remain available till 10.50 p.m. today, March 16, 2024, with the payment window ending at 11:50 p.m. Candidates interested in taking the exam can download the NEET UG 2024 application form from the official website at exams.nta.ac.in or neet.ntaonline.in.
The original deadline to apply for NEET 2024 was March 9, 2024, however, the NTA extended it in response to student requests who were having technical difficulties filling out the form and completing the Aadhaar verification if their mobile number was not linked to their Aadhaar card.
NEET UG Registration 2024: Application fee
Candidates must pay the application cost to complete their NEET UG registration in 2024. Candidates can view the NEET UG 2024 application cost details below:-
- General: Rs 1700/-
- General-EWS or OBC-NCL: Rs 1600/-
- Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Physically handicapped candidates and Third gender candidates: Rs 1000/-
NEET UG Registration 2024: Documents required
Candidates would need the following documents to fill out the NEET UG 2024 application form.
- Candidates' signature
- The candidate's left and right thumb impressions.
- Photo in postcard size.
- Photo in passport size.
- Class 12 certificate
- Class 12 mark sheet
- PwBD certificate (If required)
- Embassy or citizenship certificate.
NEET UG Registration 2024: Exam pattern
The NEET UG 2024 exam is set for May 5, with the results to be announced on June 14. The NEET UG 2024 test will be administered in pen and paper format. The paper will be broken into two sections: Sections A and B. Each subject in Section A will have 35 questions, while Section B will have 15 questions. The NEET UG 2024 exam lasts three hours and twenty minutes. The NEET UG 2024 marking scheme states that candidates would receive 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark for each erroneous response.
