ISRO Recruitment 2026: The Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO, has opened the application portal, inviting eligible candidates for Technical Assistant and other posts. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can register online at isro.gov.in until October 5, 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 22 vacancies across several posts. How To Apply For ISRO Recruitment 2026?
Interested candidates need to visit the official portal at isro.gov.in and register with their name, mobile number, email ID, and category. Once registration is successful, you will get your login credentials on the registered mobile number/email ID. Using them, complete the application form, upload mandatory documents, and pay the application fee before the deadline. Download a copy of the application form for future reference.
The application fee is Rs 750 and must be paid using online modes such as Internet Banking, Debit Cards (Domestic), Credit Cards (Domestic), and Unified Payment Interface.
ISRO Recruitment 2026: Selection Process
The selection process comprises a written test followed by a skill test across all posts. Specific to the Fireman position, the written test will be followed by a skill test and a medical examination.
The written test will be held in offline mode (OMR method) in Tirunelveli & Chennai. Applicants need to select their exam city centre during the registration process. Candidates who clear the offline test will become eligible for the skill test. Based on the written test marks, final selection will be done.
For the Fireman posts, candidates have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The PET will be held in two stages. Those who clear Stage 1 will be allowed to appear for the PET Stage 2. Candidates who clear both stages will be called for the Detailed Medical Examination.
