RBSE Board Exam 2027: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), Ajmer, is set to make a major change to its examination system by conducting Class 10 board exams twice a year from the 2026-27 academic session. This major change is in line with the New Education Policy (NEP) and follows the CBSE methodology. Its primary objective is to reduce the excessive psychological pressure on students and provide a structured path for those who wish to improve their studies without waiting another full year.

Under this new framework, the board expects to conduct the first session in February and the second in May-June. This dual-exam system serves as a primary test followed by a remedial opportunity, allowing students to retake up to three subjects. This move ensures that interruptions in studies are not permanent, creating a more supportive learning environment.

By giving this second chance, RBSE aims to improve the overall passing percentage and encourage students to improve their knowledge in specific areas where they are weak.

New System Implementation and Examination Schedule:

The RBSE's goal is to conduct Class 10 exams twice a year to reduce exam pressure on students and give them a second chance to improve their performance. Students can take a maximum of three subjects a second time to improve their scores. Sharing the official information on the social media platform 'X', the Rajasthan Board said, "Rajasthan Board will conduct the secondary examination twice in the year 2027." From next year, the first examination of class 10th is expected to be held in the month of February and the second examination in the month of May-June.

Opportunities for Student Improvement and Eligibility:

Under this new system introduced by the RBSE, a main exam and an improvement (second chance) exam will be conducted. This system allows students who do not perform well on their first attempt to take the exam for a second chance.
