SSC CGL Exam 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) started the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-I exams today, September 9, 2024. SSC has set the CGL 2024 exam on September 9–26, 2024.

According to the information offered, the commission would hold the exam in four shifts per day. Applicants must download their admit cards from the regional SSC websites before entering the examination centre.

SSC CGL exam 2024: Important exam day guidelines

Here are some key exam day instructions for applicants taking the SSC CGL 2024 exam:

- Arrive at the exam centre listed on your admit card at least 60 minutes early to minimize last-minute delays.

- Bring a physical copy of your SSC CGL admit card 2024 to the exam centre. Without it, you will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.

- Bring at least two current passport-sized photographs as well as an original, valid form of identification, such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, driver's license, PAN card, or passport. These documents are required for admittance into the examination centre. If your photo ID does not show your date of birth, you will need to produce extra documents such as your Class 10th certificate, mark sheet, birth certificate, etc.

- Candidates are not permitted to bring mobile phones, pagers, smartwatches, or other electronic devices into the examination venue. These objects are forbidden and use of any of them could result in disqualification.

SSC CGL exam 2024: Reporting time

According to reports, applicants should arrive at their exam centre 60 minutes before the start time. The following are the shift times for the SSC CGL exam:

SSC CGL exam 2024: Examination pattern

The SSC CGL Tier 1 test consists of four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section has 25 questions, each worth two marks, for a total of 100 questions and 200 marks. Applicants have one hour to finish the exam; those who pass will progress to the Tier 2 exam.

SSC CGL exam 2024: How to download the admit card?

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSCat ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the home page, click on the SSC CGL admit card 2024.

Step 3: Now, enter the credentials and then submit.

Step 4: The CGL admit card will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download the SSC CGL admit card and take a printout of the same for further reference.
