SSC CPO Tier 2 Exam Date 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification regarding the rescheduling of Tier 2 for the Sub-Inspector (SI) in the Delhi Police and CAPFs Exam 2023. According to the notification, the SSC CPO Tier 2 exam will be conducted now January 8, 2024. Earlier scheduled for December 12, 2023. The Tier 2 examination for the Sub-Inspector position in the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Exam 2023 has been postponed/rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances. Candidates can check the notification at ssc.nic.in.
“Due to unavoidable circumstances, Tier-II of the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2023 has been re-scheduled to be held on 08.01.2024, which was earlier scheduled to be held on 22.12.2023. The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular Intervals for further updates,” reads the official notification.

The Commission announced the SSC CPO tier 1 results on October 25 for the Sub-Inspector Post in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces recruitment. The tier 1 exam was conducted from October 3 to 6, 2023. Shortlisted candidates were permitted to participate in the PET PST exam 2023, held at various centers from November 14. Only those who qualified in the PST/PET are eligible to proceed to tier 2 exam.

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 1,876 vacant seats for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Sub Inspector in CAPFs, and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF. Candidate selection will depend on their overall performance in Paper I, PET/PST, Paper II, and the Medical Examination.
SSC SI Tier 2 Exam Pattern
The SSC SI tier 2 examination involves Paper 2 centered on the English language and comprehension. With 200 questions carrying a total of 200 marks, candidates will get two hours to attempt the question paper. This exam aims to evaluate candidates' English proficiency and their grasp of written content. Performance in tier 2 determines candidates' selection for the subsequent medical examination.
