The National Testing Agency (NTA) has once again extended the date to apply for UGC NET June 2024. Now, interested and eligible candidates can apply on the website ugcnet.nta.ac.in till May 19.
Earlier, the last date for application was May 10, which was extended to May 15. Now for the second time the date has been extended to May 19. NTA has issued a notice and given this information. Candidates can pay the fee till May 20 at 11.59 pm.
The window for correction in the application will be opened from May 21 to May 23. Candidates who have not yet applied can now apply till May 19 through the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Special Examination Of Class 9th and 11th From Tomorrow
The special annual examination for students studying in classes 9th and 11th will be held from May 16. The examination of both classes will be conducted in two shifts. The examination of the first shift of class ninth will be held from 9.30 am to 11.00 am and the second shift will be held from 2 pm to 4.45 pm.
At the same time, the first shift of class 11th will be held from 10 am to 1 pm and the second shift will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. The special examination of class 9th will continue till May 22 and the special examination of class 11th will continue till May 29. In both the shifts of both the classes, the candidates will be given 15 minutes extra time to read and understand the question paper.
Spastic, visually impaired and disabled candidates who are unable to write on their own will be allowed to hire a scribe. Such candidates will be given additional time of 20 minutes per hour in the scheduled time for the examination. Students who fail or are absent in this examination will not be allowed to enroll in class 10th and 12th.
