UGC NET Result 2026 Release Date: The National Testing Agency(NTA) will soon release the UGC NET Result. Along with the UGC NET Result, NTA will announce the UGC NET Final Answer Key, subject-wise cut-off, and category-wise cut-off. Candidates can download the UGC NET Scorecard at https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/.
This year, the UGC NET December exam was held for 85 subjects. The exam was held on December 31, January 2 to 7, 2026. NTA has already released the UGC NET Provisional Answer key on January 14, 2026. candidates were allowed to raise objections, if any, against the answer key till the january 17, 2026.

What Is UGC NET Category-Wise Qualifying Marks?
To qualify, candidates from the General and EWS categories must score at least 40% total marks in both papers together. Candidates from SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwD, and third gender categories need at least 35% total marks.
