UGC NET June 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened a dedicated portal for candidates belonging to Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories today, June 18, 2026, to submit their scribe details for the UGC NET June examination 2026. The last date to complete the process is fixed at June 20, 2026, till 5 PM.
The exam will be held on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, and 30, 2026, across designated exam centres nationwide. Earlier, the admit card was released on June 17, 2026, informing candidates about their exam centres and other details.
Steps To Submit UGC NET Scribe Details
The official link is now active. Candidates can use the following steps to submit the required details via the official website.
Step 1: Visit the UGC NET official website.
Step 2: Enter your application details to log in.
Step 3: On the homepage, select the link titled “Register Scribe Details.”
Step 4: Select the scribe option and fill in the required details.
Step 5: Review the details carefully before the final submission.
Step 6: After the details are submitted, the information will be displayed in the View Application Form' section and on the confirmation page.
Exam On June 22
The UGC NET June 2026 will be held on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, and 30, 2026. The test determines candidates’ eligibility for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to PhD programmes in Indian universities and colleges.
The agency has advised candidates to check the official portal frequently so as not to miss any updates related to the examination. Moreover, the “Register For Scribe” option will only be visible to the PwD and PwBD candidates who are eligible to avail the scribe facility.
