UP NEET UG 2024 Counselling: The Office of the Director General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh will start the registration process for the first round of online counselling for UP NEET UG 2024 tomorrow, August 20, 2024. The last date to register for the counselling will be August 24, 2024. Eligible candidates will be able to apply online for the UP NEET UG 2024 counselling at upneet.gov.in.
The UP NEET UG 2024 counseling process is being conducted for admission to government and private medical and dental colleges, institutions, and universities for MBBS and BDS courses.
According to the official notification, online registration and document uploads will take place from August 20 to 24. Registration and security money payments should be submitted between August 20 and 24. The merit list will be announced on August 24. Choice filling can be done from August 24 to August 29. Seat allotment will be announced on August 30, and the allotment letters and admissions will be issued from August 31 to September 5.

To participate in the counseling, candidates must register online by paying a registration fee of Rs 2,000 through the website upneet.gov.in. Moreover, it is mandatory for candidates to deposit security money online: Rs 30,000 for government state quota seats, Rs 2,00,000 for private medical college seats, and Rs 1,00,000 for private dental college seats.
The state counseling committees are responsible for conducting their NEET UG counseling sessions, which will fill about 85 per cent of the available seats. The remaining 15 per cent of the All-India Quota (AIQ) seats will be allocated by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
