UPSC CAPF 2024 Registration: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the application process for the UPSC CAPF 2024. The last date to apply for the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2024 will be May 14, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination at upsc.gov.in.
The recruitment drive will fill up a total of 506 vacant seats, of which 186 are for BSF, 120 for CRPF, 100 for CISF, 58 for ITBP, and 42 for SSB.
The written examination for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), is scheduled for August 4, 2024. The application correction window will remain active from May 15 to May 21, 2024.
UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Candidates age should be 20 years to 25 years as on August 1, 2024.
Educational Qualification: In order to apply for this recruitment, candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University.
UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
Candidates, except for Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempt from fee payment, are required to pay a fee of Rs 200.

UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2024: OTR And Application Process
Before submitting the online form on upsconline.nic.in, new applicants must undergo the one-time registration (OTR) process using the provided link on the same website. Once the OTR is finished, they can proceed to complete the application process.
For existing candidates who have previously completed the OTR for UPSC CAPF or any other examination conducted by the commission, there's no need to register again. The OTR validity on the UPSC website lasts for a lifetime. Such candidates can simply fill out the application form by entering their registration details.
