UPSC ESE 2024 Prelims: The Engineering Services Examination (UPSC ESE) 2024 preliminary test schedule has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on its official website, upsc.gov.in.

The UPSC ESE 2024 preliminary test will be held on February 18, 2024, in two shifts, according to the official announcement. Shifts 1 and 2 of the UPSC ESE 2024 will be held from 10 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm, respectively.

The first objective-type paper for general studies and engineering aptitude on the UPSC ESE preliminary examination in 2024 would last for two hours and carry 200 points. According to the engineering stream that each candidate has chosen, Paper 2 will be subject-specific and last three hours with 300 marks worth of objective questions.

Today is the last day to apply for the UPSC ESE. The application form's correction facility will not be offered by the commission. Therefore, candidates must correctly complete the UPSC ESE registration form according to the commission's guidelines.

According to the commission's published timetable, applicants who pass the UPSC ESE preliminary exam in 2024 will be eligible to take the UPSC ESE mains exam, which will be held on June 23, 2024.

Candidates with civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and telecom engineering backgrounds who have applied for the UPSC ESE prelims test 2024 can access the official schedule on the UPSC website.
