UPSC Unofficial Prelims Answer Key 2024: The UPSC Prelims 2024 examination took place on June 16, 2024, with over 10 lakh candidates appearing. The General Studies I paper was conducted in the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by General Studies II in the afternoon from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Many experts have shared the unofficial answer key for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exams. Candidates can get help from here and calculate their expected scores.

According to media reports, the question paper in the first shift was rated as easy to moderate, while the CSAT paper was considered moderate in difficulty. Overall, the exam was reported to be easier compared to last year.

The UPSC official answer key for all four sets will soon be published on the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in. Until then, candidates can refer to the answer key shared by experts and the marking scheme to estimate their scores. Candidates can check the unofficial UPSC Prelims 2024 answer key of their respective set. The cutoff marks will be released only after the final selection list is announced next year.

Candidates who qualify for the prelims will proceed to the main examination, and those who clear both stages will be required to appear for the interview round.

The mode of the exam was offline. The paper carried a maximum of 400 marks, with each worth 200 marks. It was an objective test containing 180 multiple-choice questions. The medium of the paper was English and Hindi. The CSAT paper was a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33 per cent.
