One inspiring tale is that of IAS Vandana Chauhan. She comes from a small village in Haryana called Nasrullagarh, where there were no good schools. Her brothers went abroad for education, and this motivated her to ask her parents to send her to a better place for her studies. She eventually got a spot at Moradabad Gurukul. Vandana and her parents faced criticism from relatives for this decision to send her away for further education.

Unwavering Dedication: Vandana's Grit in UPSC Preparation and Higher Education

After finishing her 12th grade, Vandana began preparing for the UPSC to become an IAS officer. She dedicated 12 to 14 hours every day to her studies. Vandana Singh completed her Sanskrit (Hons) graduation at Kanya Gurukul, Bhiwani. Later, she pursued her LL.B. at BR Ambedkar University, Agra. Unfortunately, she had to complete her coursework online because she lacked family support.

Becoming the Beacon: Vandana's UPSC Triumph Inspires Rural Youth

Vandana always had the support of her brother, and in 2012, she cracked the UPSC exam in Hindi medium, securing the 8th All India Rank (AIR). Her achievement became an inspiration for numerous rural girls who couldn't go to English-medium schools.

Self-Belief and Solitary Study: Vandana's Recipe for Success

Vandana's path to success was all about never giving up and believing in herself. Unlike what most people thought was best, she decided not to join coaching classes or get help from others. Instead, she chose to study on her own. She was incredibly determined and, for a whole year, she stayed in her room, studying for hours and hours.
