CBSE Board Exam 2024: In response to feedback from stakeholders, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has implemented various alterations to this year's board exam pattern.

Here are the major changes

Boards Exams Twice A Year, Option To Retain The Best Score:

In August, the central government introduced a revised curriculum framework to transform the Indian education system, emphasizing student-centered and holistic learning. As per the New Curriculum framework, board exams will occur twice a year, offering students the choice to retain their best score. Moreover, students in classes 11 and 12 will now be mandated to study two languages instead of one.

No Overall Division Or Distinction In CBSE Class 10, 12 Exams:

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that for the CBSE Board Exams 2024, no overall division, distinction, or aggregate will be awarded to students in classes 10 and 12. CBSE will refrain from calculating or disclosing any percentage of marks for these exams.

No Answer Books In Accountancy:

From the Board Examination in 2024 onward, CBSE will discontinue the provision of answer books containing tables on the subject of Accountancy.
