20% Reduction In Textbook Prices For Classes 9-12
NCERT announced a 20 per cent reduction in textbook prices for classes 9-12, effective from the 2026-27 academic session, offering financial relief to students nationwide.
MoU With Flipkart And Amazon For Wider Reach
To improve availability, NCERT partnered with e-commerce platforms Flipkart and Amazon, ensuring textbooks at reduced prices even in remote rural areas.
Scaling Production To 15 Crore Copies
The council plans to scale up textbook production from the current 4-5 crore to 15 crore copies by 2026-27, addressing growing demands.

Google Partnership For Multilingual Digital Learning
In collaboration with Google, NCERT launched YouTube channels in 29 Indian languages, including Indian Sign Language, to provide inclusive digital learning resources for students from grades 1 to 12.
Launch Of 'Sathee' Portal For Free Exam Prepration
NCERT introduced the SATHEE portal, offering free resources for competitive exams like NEET, JEE, and SSC. The platform includes expert mentorship and self-assessment tools, benefiting students from diverse and underserved backgrounds.
