Lok Sabha Election 2024: The poll campaigning for the third phase of voting of the Lok Sabha polls will end today at 6 pm and the candidates are ready to go the extra mile to woo voters and secure their mandate amid the democratic fervour. In Phase 3, as many as 95 seats across 12 states and Union Territories (UTs) will go for polling on May 7 (Tuesday). The prominent candidates in the third phase include Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister and BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Akhilesh Yadav’s wife Dimple Yadav, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury among others. 

The states that will go to polls in the third phase include  Assam (4 seats), Goa (2), Gujarat (26), Karnataka (14), Madhya Pradesh (8), Maharashtra (11), Uttar Pradesh (10), West Bengal (4),  Bihar (5), Chhattisgarh (7), Jammu and Kashmir (1), Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (2). The voting will be held from 7 am to 6 pm on May 7.

According to Dainik Jagran, if any kind of video or message is uploaded or forwarded on internet media, then the District Level Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) will examine it with the help of a cyber cell.
