HD Revanna Arrest: HD Revanna, JDS MLA and father of Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna was taken into the SIT custody on Saturday after a Karnataka court denied him anticipatory bail in the kidnapping case associated with the sex scandal of his son. Revanna was arrested from his father and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda's residence. He was taken to the CID office in Bengaluru. He was booked in a kidnapping case on Thursday after a 20-year-old man filed a police report claiming that one of Revanna's associates had kidnapped his mother.
She was among the women shown in the alleged sex tapes involving Prajwal. Earlier, the SIT issued a lookout notice to Revanna fearing he would fly out of the country.

Kidnapping case against JDS leader
Senior Revanna's arrest came after an MP/MLA court denied interim bail to him in a recent abduction case. A woman, who was among the many women featured in the alleged sex tapes of Prajwal, was allegedly abducted by an associate of HD Revanna who goes by the name of Satish Babu or Satish Babanna. Filing an abduction complaint, her son has alleged that she was forcefully taken by Babanna from their house and the family was not able to contact her.
Woman traced, associate sent to judicial custody
Police said on Saturday that they have located the woman in Hunsur, and they are currently gathering information from her. Satish Babu has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody by the magistrate, reported the Indian Express.
Earlier today, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that he has received crucial information from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) offices investigating the alleged sex scandal involving Prajwal Revanna that there might be a chance of the CBI issuing a "Blue Corner Notice" against Hassan MP.
