ACP Pradyuman to die in CID: In a shocking move, the makers of the long-running crime drama, CID, have reportedly decided to bring an end to the iconic character of ACP Pradyuman, played by Shivaji Satam, who has been the show's primary protagonist since its inception in 1998. Satam's portrayal of the ACP Pradyuman has made him an indispensable part of the show. However, due to the show's declining viewership and low TRP, the makers have taken the drastic decision to kill off ACP Pradyuman in a dramatic plot twist, reportedly involving a bomb blast. According to Hindustan Times, a source told, “It's true that Shivaji Satam's character ACP Pradyuman is going to die. The makers have decided to take this step due to the low TRP . This decision has been made after much consideration and mutual agreement.”
The source went on to state, “A senior actor like him will not be replaced but a new actor will step in with a new character and take the story ahead. The new actor will be at power with Shivaji Satam's popularity and stature.”
The iconic character is set to meet a dramatic end in the long-running show. According to earlier reports, filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia, who has recently joined the show's cast, will be instrumental in orchestrating ACP Pradyuman's demise by planting a bomb that will ultimately lead to his death.
