Om Raut-directorial "Adipurush", based on the epic saga of Ramayana, is touted as one of the highly-anticipated movies of the year. The advance bookings of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starrer are finally open now. On Sunday, Kriti Sanon took to her Instagram handle and announced the same. She shared a motion poster of the movie featuring superstar Prabhas aiming his bow and arrow toward evil.

Kriti wrote in the caption, "The wait is finally over! Get ready to experience a cinematic adventure like no other! Advance Booking Open Now! Book your tickets Now! Link in Bio. #Adipurush in cinemas worldwide on 16th June."

According to a report in ETimes, a total of 10,000 tickets have been sold in two of the largest national movie theatre chains, with 60% of those sales occurring on the first day. These numbers guarantee that the Hindi film "Adipurush" will have a fantastic opening weekend. If the movie continues down this path, "Adipurush" may surpass the advance booking of "RRR" (Hindi).

"Adipurush" Release Date

Filmmaker Om Raut is currently gearing up for the release of 'Adipurush', starring Kriti Sanon and Prabhas in the lead roles. The movie also stars Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles. 'Adipurush' is all set to hit the theatres on June 16, this year, and the fans can't wait to witness their favourite actors sharing the screen space for the first time.

Adapted from the Sanskrit epic Ramayana, 'Adipurush' is an upcoming mythological film, produced by T-Series and Retrophiles. The movie is written and directed by Om Raut and was concurrently filmed in Hindi and Telugu. The movie has a runtime of 2 hours and 54 minutes.
