Ahead Of The 8 Show, Ryu Jun Yeol BREAKS Silence On Dating Han So Hee

After several months of silence following his split with Han So Hee amidst dating rumors, actor Ryu Jun Yeol has finally spoken out. Recently, Yeol found himself entangled in a dating controversy involving his then-girlfriend Han So Hee and ex-girlfriend Hyeri. In March, rumours surfaced of his relationship with Han So Hee, later confirmed by the actress. At the press conference for his upcoming series The 8 Show, he finally addressed these controversies.

At the press conference for Netflix's new series The 8 Show on May 10, he stated, "I felt it was best to remain silent and endure the criticism rather than attempting to correct the misinformation about my personal life spread on social media." The K-drama actor also acknowledged being aware of other controversies, including one linked to a golf event. He described this period as a time for self-reflection, marking the most challenging since his debut. Regarding personal matters, he hinted at the possibility of granting interviews in a more private setting in the future. "As it is about my personal life, I think I would like to give a separate interview at some other time."

What's the controversy?

Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee were initially caught up in dating rumoUrs when they were spotted vacationing together in Hawaii in March. Their subsequent confirmation of their relationship sparked further speculation, especially since it appeared to overlap with Ryu Jun Yeol's previous relationship with Hyeri. Netizens accused him of engaging in 'transit love,' suggesting he had left the Reply 1988 actress for Han So Hee.

Following this, Han So Hee and Hyeri were reportedly involved in a social media feud, drawing criticism for their perceived impulsiveness. Amidst accusations of 'transit love,' Han So Hee clarified that she had only met Ryu Jun Yeol after his breakup with Hyeri in November 2023, portraying their relationship as a natural progression.

Throughout this prolonged controversy, Ryu Jun Yeol maintained a steadfast silence. Despite criticism from netizens and even his then-girlfriend Han So Hee for his seemingly indifferent attitude, the actor refrained from taking any action.

Meanwhile, just two weeks into their relationship, Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee parted ways. Their brief romance was marred by intense public scrutiny and speculation, ultimately contributing to their separation.
