Ajith Kumar, who is basking in the success of his latest release Vidaamuyarchi, has already begun the next chapter of his racing career. While his film is receiving a positive response at the box office, Ajith, a passionate racing enthusiast, is back on the track. He is in Portugal, all set to take part in a major motorsport event in Estoril. Ahead of the event, during a practice session, the actor reportedly had a serious accident. Although his car was damaged, he escaped unscathed.
Ajith Kumar Meets With Accident
During one of his training sessions ahead of the racing event, Ajith’s car met with an accident on the track, sustaining damage. The actor was quickly rescued and emerged from the incident without injuries. Later, he described the incident as a 'minor accident' and revealed that no one was injured. He also expressed gratitude to those who supported him during this time.
He said in an interview after the incident, “We are having a good time again. We got into a minor accident. Fortunately, nothing happened to anyone. We will win the car race again and establish our pride. We would like to thank the friends who supported us during the accident.”
This marks the second time Ajith Kumar has been involved in such a mishap. In January, while practicing for the Dubai 24 Hours race, his car lost control and crashed into a safety barrier. Despite this, his team, Ajith Kumar Racing by Bas Koeten, secured third place in the Dubai 24 Hours race.

Ajith Kumar captivated audiences with his performance in Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni. The film, released on February 6, also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and Arav in key roles. According to a Sacnilk report, the film has earned a worldwide collection of Rs 108.50 crore within four days, with a domestic net collection of Rs 62.25 crore. He also has Good Bad Ugly in the pipeline, directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
