Alia Bhatt is gearing up for an exciting role in the upcoming Yash Raj Films (YRF) spy universe project. The film, directed by Shiv Rawail, is set to feature the actress alongside Sharvari Wagh in a significant female-led project.

According to a Mid-Day report, Director Aditya Chopra is keen on making this film a standout action entertainer, aiming to present Alia and Sharvari's characters as formidable forces and the movie is set to showcase seven adrenaline-pumping action sequences. To achieve this vision, Aditya has assembled a talented team including Korean stunt coordinator Se Yeong Oh, Franz Spillhaus, and Indian action director Sunil Rodrigues.

This project marks Alia Bhatt's entry into the YRF spy universe, joining the ranks of popular characters like Zoya (Katrina Kaif) and Rubai (Deepika Padukone) from the 'Tiger' and 'Pathaan' franchises respectively. The film is expected to commence shooting soon, promising audiences an engaging cinematic experience.

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor has joined the YRF Spy Universe and will be playing the role of the RAW chief. His character is expected to make a significant impact, adding depth and intrigue to the espionage thriller.
