Pushpa 3: Allu Arjun, the celebrated South Indian actor, has revealed exciting plans for his blockbuster film 'Pushpa'. During the Berlin Film Festival, where the film is being showcased at the European Film Market, Allu Arjun shared insights about expanding the 'Pushpa' universe into a franchise.

The highly anticipated sequel, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', is set to hit screens in 2024, with Allu Arjun reprising his role as the titular character. Amid the buzz surrounding the sequel, Allu Arjun hinted at the possibility of a third instalment, stating, "You can definitely expect part three, we do want to make it a franchise and we have exciting ideas for the lineup."

Speaking to Variety, Allu Arjun expressed his eagerness to gauge the international audience's reception to 'Pushpa'. He said, "I just want to see how people abroad are going to see this film, and try to understand how they view Indian cinema, just understand how film festivals are and what kind of films are watched and what is the mindset of the people that come there."

Reflecting on the feedback received for 'Pushpa' from both Indian and overseas audiences, Allu Arjun noted a similarity in their appreciation for the film. "I didn’t find much of a difference [between] the way the urban Indians have watched the film and the people overseas. And I think urban Indians are similar to global audiences," he remarked.

'Pushpa: The Rise', the first installment of the franchise, was a massive success across India, propelling Allu Arjun to pan-Indian stardom. The film follows the journey of Pushpa, a daily wage worker who becomes a red sanders smuggler, aiming to establish his own empire. Allu Arjun's portrayal of Pushpa earned him the prestigious National Film Award for Best Actor.

With plans for a franchise and a potential third part in the works, fans of the 'Pushpa' series can look forward to more thrilling adventures and captivating storytelling from Allu Arjun and the team behind the films.
