BTS Jhope, also known as Jung Hoseok, delighted ARMYs as he marked his 30th birthday with a special message and photos shared on Instagram on February 17. Currently serving in the South Korean military since April 18, 2023, Jhope took a moment to connect with his devoted followers as he celebrates his birthday on February 18. 

Fans took to social media platforms and flooded them with wishes for BTS' rapper and one of the best dancers in the group. '#HAPPYBIRTHDAYJHOPE' along with several other hashtags trended on X on the special occasion of Jhope's birthday.

In a series of Instagram Stories, Jhope shared glimpses of his day out, including a heartwarming poster featuring him with the words "Happy Jhope Day," which he simply captioned with "Happy." Another poster had the word "hope," and the final picture showed Jhope himself, casually leaning against a glass wall with his poster, with the word "day" added to complete the celebratory message.

For his outing, Jhope sported a stylish yet relaxed look, wearing a white T-shirt paired with a denim jacket and pants. He accessorized with a black beanie, glasses, and a face mask, maintaining a low profile while enjoying his time out.

Despite being away from the spotlight due to his military service, Jhope has remained connected with fans through social media. Earlier this month, photos of him leading soldier trainees in a 20 km ruck march surfaced online, showcasing his dedication and leadership skills even in the military setting.

In a heartfelt letter to fans last December, Jhope expressed his gratitude for their support and shared his experiences leading up to his enlistment. He mentioned attending award shows and participating in collaborations to show fans different sides of himself before beginning his service.

Jhope also expressed his longing for his fellow BTS members, RM, Jin, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, and assured fans that despite his absence, he was looking forward to reuniting with them and showcasing his "cool side" once again.

As Jhope continues his military service, fans eagerly await his return and continue to show their love and support for him and the rest of BTS. Jhope last released his digital single 'On the Street' with American rapper J. Cole in March 2023.
