Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol's highly anticipated film 'Gadar 2' has generated immense excitement among fans, who are eager to see the iconic duo reunite on the big screen in this sequel. Directed by Anil Sharma, the movie is scheduled to hit theatres on August 11. However, things took an unexpected turn when Ameesha shared a spoiler from the upcoming film and subsequently took to Twitter to make startling allegations against the director.

Taking to the micro-blogging site, Ameesha, who portrays the character of Sakina in the film, expressed her grievances regarding the mismanagement on set and directly addressed director Anil Sharma and his production team. However, she also expressed her gratitude towards Zee Studios for intervening and resolving the issues for the team.

In her statement, she detailed the instances of mismanagement that occurred during the shooting of ‘Gadar 2’ under Anil Sharma's production house. She addressed the fans' concerns regarding certain incidents that transpired during the final schedule of ‘Gadar 2’, which took place in Chandigarh towards the end of May.

Providing an explanation regarding the mismanagement caused by Anil Sharma and his production company she tweeted, “Another concern of fans has been about certain incidents regarding ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS to have taken place in regards to the final schedule of GADAR 2 that took place end May in CHANDIGARH!!”

In her subsequent tweets, the actress shed light on the challenges encountered by the entire film crew due to the actions of the producers, until Zee Studios intervened and resolved the issue. She also mentioned the unpaid accommodation and transportation expenses incurred by the production team. Additionally, certain cast and crew members were left without cars as promised, resulting in them being stranded.

“There were certain queries that many technicians like make-up artists, costume designers, and others, etc did not receive their rightful remuneration and dues from ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS!! Yes, they did not !! But @ZeeStudios_ stepped in and made sure all dues were settled as they are a v professional company!" she wrote.

The next tweet read, "Yes, from accommodation, to transport to Chandigarh airport on the final day to food bills were left unpaid and cars were not provided to certain cast and crew members, leaving them stranded! But yet again @zeestudios stepped in and corrected these issues caused by ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS!!!"

The long-awaited teaser of 'Gadar 2' was revealed recently. 'Gadar 2: The Katha Continues’ is an upcoming period action drama film in Hindi, directed and produced by Anil Sharma, based on a story by Shaktimaan Talwar. Serving as a sequel to the 2001 film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,’ the movie features Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma in the lead roles.

The narrative of the film will centre around Tara Singh (Sunny Deol), who ventures into Pakistan to reunite with his son, Charanjeet 'Jeete' Singh (Utkarsh Sharma). The backdrop of the story will be the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
