Amitabh Bachchan is occupied with continuous shooting schedules, frequently leading to his pictures from various sets becoming viral. Recently, he commenced filming for his upcoming movie 'Vettaiyan,' where he will be co-starring alongside Rajinikanth. The images of their reunion on set have swiftly circulated online, sparking excitement among fans. Fresh images from the Vettaiyan sets have emerged on social media, showcasing iconic actors Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan together in the frame.
The images depict Amitabh and Rajinikanth donning sleek black formal attire, posing stylishly. They are captured in moments of embrace and engaged in what appears to be a serious conversation. Lycra Production house shared the photos of their reunion on their X handle and wrote, "The Titans of Indian Cinema! Superstar @rajinikanth and Shahenshah @SrBachchan grace the sets of Vettaiyan in Mumbai, with their unmatched charisma." Upon the release of these photos, fans quickly responded, flooding the comment section with heart emojis.

Amitabh Bachchan too dropped the photo and wrote,"Am honoured and privileged to be with the Thala the Great Rajni again .. he hasn’t changed at all .. the same simple humble down to earth friend despite his stratospheric greatness !!!"

In the photos, both actors are attired in suits. Amitabh is seen wearing a dark blue blazer, white shirt, and grey waistcoat and trousers, while Rajinikanth opts for a dark blue blazer with a black shirt and trousers.
This marks their reunion after 33 years since their last on-screen appearance together in Hum. Vettaiyan will also mark Amitabh's debut in Tamil cinema. In April, Lyca Productions shared an update about the film, unveiling a new poster and announcing its release in October this year. The poster quickly went viral on social media.
VETTAIYAN is all set to take charge in cinemas this OCTOBER. Get ready to chase down the prey!" In the poster, Rajinikanth is seen posing with a gun. The title teaser, also shared by Lyca Productions on social media, begins with Rajinikanth reading a book featuring Subhas Chandra Bose. The teaser hints at Rajinikanth possibly portraying the role of a professor, but it also includes scenes of him wielding a lathi and holding a gun, reminiscent of his character in the recently released Jailer.
Vettaiyan is directed by T J Gnanavel and features Rajinikanth in the lead role, along with an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Kishore, and Rohini. Subaskaran Allirajah is producing the film under the banner of Lyca Productions. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, S R Kathir is the cinematographer, and Philomin Raj is handling the editing.
