Ranbir Kapoor-starrer 'Animal' has created a lot of hype among the audience ever since the release of its trailer and fans can't wait to watch the film on the big screen. The makers have left no stone unturned to promote the film and the cast and crew of 'Animal' were recently in Hyderabad to interact with fans and media. At the press meeting, the media asked if there is a possibility of a sequel of 'Animal' and Chairman and Managing Director of T-Series Bhushan Kumar had an interesting reply.

Talking about the sequel of 'Animal', Bhushan Kumar said, "It is a surprise. You will come to know on the 1st of December.”

There has also been discussion going on for the total run time of 'Animal' which is over three hours. Talking about the film's long duration, Ranbir Kapoor said, "We are releasing a film this long not because we feel arrogant about it. We felt that the story required that time to reach the audience in the best way possible. We have seen a cut of this film which was 3 hours and 49 minutes. And that cut was also entertaining.”

He added, "Sandeep has worked very hard to bring the length down. We are hoping that the audience doesn’t get panicked by the length and experience cinema at its best."

The movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles. During the trailer launch of 'Animal', Bobby talked about how he got the role in the film. Recalling his meeting with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, he said, "The condition of my career was such that I never thought that I would get such a great role." He revealed that Sandeep showed him his picture when he was playing Celebrity Cricket League.

He added, "Sandeep showed me photo of mine from the time I was playing Celebrity Cricket League, I wasn’t working much at the time. In the photo, I was looking away in the horizon. He said I want to cast you because of this expression. This is what I want for the film ‘I said chalo bekaari ke din kaam aa gaye‘ (my jobless days worked for me).”

'Animal' will release in theatres on December 1, 2023, and will clash with Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur'.
