Renowned music maestro AR Rahman recently encountered a fan abroad who expressed admiration for him as her idol. She sought his permission to perform a song, and to the delight of onlookers, she chose his patriotic hit, 'Maa Tujhe Salaam', accompanied by her guitar skills. Rahman, sitting in his car, recorded the heartfelt rendition and later shared it on his Instagram Stories.

The video is now circulating widely on social media and fans are loving it. Viewers were quick to commend her melodious singing and instrumental prowess. Comments flooded in, praising the performance with remarks like, "She sang so nicely...India sab ki jaan hai (India is everyone's life)," and "What an amazing performance." The sentiment was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their admiration for the fan's musical abilities.

It is not the first time AR Rahman has engaged with his fans in unexpected ways. Three weeks prior, he made headlines when he visited the Nagore Dargah in Nagapattinam, arriving in an auto-rickshaw to participate in the Kanduri festival, leaving his fans in awe.

Recently, he participated in the UAE's 52nd National Day celebrations in Abu Dhabi, unveiling a 'song of hope' alongside a 52-member all-female Firdaus Orchestra. The performance paid tribute to UAE's founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and aimed to spread hope, peace, understanding, and joy in these challenging times.

Rahman is also set to provide music for Ram Charan's next project, tentatively titled RC16, and the film 'Chamkila', starring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra.
