Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are not expecting their first child, contrary to recent speculation sparked by Suniel Shetty's remarks on a dance reality show. Suniel's comment about becoming a 'nana' was made in jest and has been misinterpreted, according to a report by Hindustan Times.
Athiya Shetty, daughter of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, and Indian cricketer KL Rahul tied the knot in a private ceremony at Suniel Shetty's Khandala farmhouse on January 23, 2023. The intimate wedding was attended by close friends and family. The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary in January, sharing a romantic video on Instagram that captured some of their most memorable moments from the wedding and their married life so far.
Despite the recent buzz, the report has confirmed that Athiya and KL Rahul are not expecting a child at the moment. They are happily married and enjoying this phase of their life. While they do plan to expand their family in the future, there is no truth to the current pregnancy speculation.
