Former Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia has reactivated her Instagram account after a brief hiatus prompted by intense online trolling. Following her return, she posted a cryptic message on the platform. She faced a wave of criticism and negative comments after sharing saree photos, with many claiming she looked unrecognisable. In response, she initially disabled comments on her posts before deactivating her account entirely.

Now, Ayesha has returned to Instagram, making a comeback with a new post. She shared a cryptic note, hinting that she wouldn't react to the trolling. Her post read, "Did you notice how I just didn't respond? Very mindful, very cutesy, very demure."

Earlier, Ayesha Takia, known for her roles in films like Dil Maange More, Taarzan: The Wonder Car, and Wanted, faced criticism related to rumours of plastic surgery. Following the posting of her ethnic blue and golden saree look on August 19, many users claimed she appeared almost unrecognisable due to alleged plastic surgery. Meanwhile, Ayesha came under criticism for her appearance when she was spotted at Mumbai airport with her son. In response to the backlash, she addressed the issue on Instagram, stating: "Turns out there are no other important issues in the country except dissecting my looks... been bombarded with viral ridiculous opinions of how people think I should have looked and don’t. Get over me. I have zero interest in doing any films or any comeback like people are saying. I am living my life happily, never want to be in the limelight, not interested in any fame, don’t wanna be in any film. Please feel free to not care about me at all"

About Ayesha Takia

Ayesha began her acting journey with a minor role in Taarzan: The Wonder Car (2004), but it was her performance in Dil Maange More (2004) that truly marked her as a rising star. Her critical breakthrough came with Dor (2006), where she showcased her ability to handle complex roles. Takia continued to gain popularity with successful films like Wanted (2009) alongside Salman Khan, cementing her position as a leading actress. She demonstrated her versatility with roles in Salaam-E-Ishq (2007) and Paathshaala (2008).
